The deposit is £4,000, non-refundable, due at the end of the two-week hold, and the quote is valid to Tuesday 22 September. Alex says an extension is possible if the registrars are slow, as long as we ask. Cancelling more than 28 weeks out still costs the £4,000; inside 14 weeks it is the deposit, the hire, all the catering and the rooms. Food and drink pricing for 2027 is confirmed at the end of November, so the 7% uplift on the quote is worst case, not fixed. One of the two bridal suites, Oak or Head Gardener’s Cottage, is free on the wedding night. Guests in those 27 book through you, not with the hotel; anyone beyond them books direct. The allocation form is due six weeks before the day, and after that the estate pre-checks people in so nobody queues on the morning. Where to sleep says this now.
